The 5-Day Environmental Monitor course is designed to train field monitors hired by industry to monitor environmental management practices in Ontario.

The course focuses on fieldwork monitoring techniques for Water, Soil and Air. It includes both a classroom and field component, where participants will learn firsthand how to collect, record, and interpret information needed to fulfill the job requirements of an Environmental Monitor.

  • Day 1 – Introduction to Environmental Monitoring
  • Day 2 – Water Monitoring and the Environment
  • Day 3 – Air/Soil Monitoring and Spills Response
  • Day 4 – Introduction to Biological Studies
  • Day 5 – Bringing it all Together
