Good Afternoon, Students,

As the situation with Covid-19 evolves, we would like to keep you informed of updates as they relate to the College.

Social distancing has proven to be a highly effective approach to flattening the Coronavirus curve.

To this end, effective Monday, March 23, once reading week has come to an end, Northern College will be suspending face-to-face post-secondary classes at each of its campuses for the foreseeable future.

Our faculty, working with the Academic Division of the College, will be looking at creative and effective ways to move post-secondary students to remote delivery curriculum, wherever and whenever possible. The timing of this will vary for each program.

For placements and practicums, we are accommodating the needs of our students, community partners and program requirements in the best way possible and will begin working with accreditation bodies on a provincial scale for exam-testing alternatives and deferrals.

Please stay tuned for updates and do not come to the College at this time without an appointment.
