Our hearts go out to those affected by the serious fire which occurred downtown in Kirkland Lake over the weekend, displacing 25 residents including some Northern College students.

We encourage those students affected by this sad turn of events to connect with us for the support they need to recover from this loss. If staff are interested in supporting those impacted by this fire, please get in touch with the contacts listed below.

Northern College will work closely with the affected students to ensure they have what they need to recover from this loss.

Thank you to the Kirkland Lake first responders for their quick response and actions which saved lives. The generosity and compassion from the residents within the community of Kirkland Lake is very much appreciated by all.
