Northern College is seeking part-time Professors to teach on-site in the Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Business – Marketing, and Business – Human Resources programs in our Business Department. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, leadership skills, effective communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, critical thinking and time management skills, and excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite). Experience working in the field of study as well as prior teaching experience are considered assets. Designations in the business field (i.e.: CHRP, PMP, etc.) would also be asset.

Reporting to the Dean, School of Business and Community Services, the successful candidate will be expected to create a positive teaching and learning environment, using a variety of strategies and materials in the multi-modal delivery of courses. The incumbent should embody a commitment to student success and professional development and demonstrate capacity for leadership in a multi-cultural organization. In addition, the successful candidate must ensure currency and relevance of the teaching material and assessment techniques. The successful candidate will support students in the use of Northern College learning management system as well as maintain course materials within this
system.

What you will need to be considered:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant/related field. A Master’s Degree in a related field of study would be preferred; and;
• Demonstrated work experience in academic program of study.
