COVID-19 Response
Covid-19 Pandemic Updates
Northern College has had a full return to normal academic operation, with on-site in-person instruction subject to the operational efficiency of programming, since the Fall 2022 semester.
Northern College campuses are open and are following all protocols for preventing the spread of Covid-19.
On-campus learning and services are taking place for most of our traditionally in-person programs. Some courses continue to be offered online or through a hybrid delivery (a combination of online and in-class activities). As we continue to monitor pandemic conditions and respond according to guidance from all appropriate government and health authorities, we will communicate any required changes to our programming.
Self-Assessment
All students, staff and visitors are asked to please continue with government self-assessments before attending Northern College campuses. This passive assessment ensures everyone monitors their symptoms before coming to a Northern College campus. Continuity of Education Plan
As we return to studies in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we do so with the hope that studies can be conducted in a smooth and efficient manner. However, it is imperative that we plan for further disruption, given the dynamic nature of the recent rise in variant cases and the push to achieve community protection through vaccination.
To this end, Northern College presents this Continuity of Education Plan (CEP).
The plan will provide ready access to information regarding Health and Safety protocols in the event of further emergencies, information regarding the continuation of studies if face-to-face study is disrupted, and links to useful resources in the event of an emergency.
