This course introduces students to the knowledge and skills required to conduct comprehensive health assessments across the lifespan. Students develop skills in health history collection, physical assessment, therapeutic communication, and documentation, with emphasis on recognizing normal and abnormal findings. Assessment findings are used to identify health concerns and support clinical judgment, health promotion, and nursing care planning.
